Parking Meters / Ticket Machines
We are currently in the process of upgrading all of our parking meters.
The benefits of these machines is the ability to offer motorists flexible payment options, allow convenience and being sustainable by removing paper tickets.
Always remember to note your registration number prior to using the machines. Once you are at the machine, follow the prompts and press slowly and firmly on the keypad, ensuring you enter the correct information.
Then select your payment method. Accepted payments include:
- Paystay app
It’s important to press OK to finalise a coin transaction, and don’t forget to check the expiry time on the screen.
- Ensure you enter the correct vehicle registration
- Be sure to check parking restrictions at the location
- Take note of your expiry time.
Faulty parking meters
If you park your vehicle in a ticketed parking area and the machine is faulty you can SMS 0421 269 030 or contact us on 9205 5555 with the following information:
- The meter ID
- Your vehicle registration number
What happens next?
Once you have submitted your report you are allowed to park for the maximum amount of time listed on the parking sign. For example, if it is 2P you may park for 2 hours.
If you do receive a parking fine you must appeal it and include the reference number you were given in your appeal.
