Active and Healthy Ageing Strategy

In early 2018 we asked people who live, work and visit Yarra to share their views on what it means to live “well’, and as a result, the Active and Healthy Ageing Strategy 2018 – 2024 was developed, and adopted in late 2018.

Our Active and Healthy Ageing Strategy 2018 - 2024 is also available in plain English.

Active Ageing Advisory Committee

We developed the Active and Healthy Ageing Strategy with the support of the Active Ageing Advisory Committee.

The AAAC collaborates with us and the community in raising awareness of ageing issues and promoting a Yarra culture that responds to the needs and aspirations of all older people. A key responsibility of the group is to oversight the implementation of the action plan.
