Customer Service

Our four customer service centres (Richmond Town Hall, Collingwood Town Hall, Connie Benn Centre and Bargoonga Nganjin, North Fitzroy Library) and our call centre will be closed on the January 26 public holiday.

For Council-related emergencies, you can contact our after-hours support team on 9205 5555.

Rubbish and recycling collections

Usual Friday collections will still take place on Friday 26 January.

Our recycling drop-off centre will be open as normal, 8am - 4pm.

Leisure centres

Our four leisure facilities will operate with adjusted hours.

• Collingwood Leisure Centre: 8am - 6pm
• Fitzroy Swimming Pool: 8am - 8pm^
• Richmond Recreation Centre: 8am - 6pm
• Burnley Golf Course: 6am - 8pm

^When the temperature forecast is 30 degrees or over, the aquatic area at Fitzroy Swimming Pool will remain open a further hour on top of the scheduled closing time. This only applies to the aquatic area.

Libraries

Our five public libraries (Carlton, Collingwood, Fitzroy, Richmond and Bargoonga Nganjin, North Fitzroy Library) will be closed. Items can be renewed online.
