We're celebrating the rich history of Gleadell Street Market with a month-long fiesta in November!

For 150 years, Richmond’s fresh food and produce markets have been a key part of the cultural and economic fabric of Yarra.

Local farmers, artisans and entrepreneurs come together at the market, showcasing their products and connecting with customers from all walks of life. From fresh produce to handcrafted goods, the market offers a unique shopping experience that modern supermarkets can’t replicate.

We're celebrating this incredible milestone every Saturday in November at Gleadell Street Market.

Featuring: 

• Live music and entertainment 
• Historic photo and story exhibitions
• A story competition with total prize pool of $600 to spend at the market 
• Commemorative shopping bags for sale

There will also be a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony on Saturday 4 November and the unveiling of a plaque by Mayor Claudia Nguyen on Saturday 11 November.
