To keep the market operating as safe as possible the following rules apply:
- If you are feeling unwell, sick or have symptoms do not attend the market.
- We strongly recommend you wear a mask.
- Please use the QR codes to sign in, they will be at the entrances and throughout the market. There is also hand sanitiser available for use.
- Shop with purpose, avoid socialising in the market and maintain social distancing.
- Follow all COVID-19 Safe guidelines.
Please note: not all stallholders are present at the market each week.
Every Saturday, Gleadell Street in Richmond is transformed into a bustling fresh food market, overflowing with seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh bread, herbs and other gourmet delights.
The Gleadell Street market is owned and operated by Yarra City Council.

The market is open on Saturdays from 7am to 1pm.
Plastic free market
The market is plastic-free, so remember to bring your reusable shopping bag to carry your purchases.
Stallholders are allowed to use biodegradable bags only and must not have them on display.
