Business Advisory Group

The Business Advisory Group is a forum for business representatives to provide Council with feedback and practical advice regarding ways in which Council can engage with and further assist key sectors within the business community. The Committee provides strategic advice to us on issues that affect the business community in Yarra.

The Business Advisory Group provides considered advice and recommendations to Council:

What does the committee do?

  • On the local economy and industry specific challenges and opportunities that effect the local business community
  • That help shape the development, implementation and promotion of Councils Economic Development Strategy
  • On policies and strategic objectives concerning Yarra’s business community
  • On how best to engage the business community on matters of significance to the whole of Yarra community
