Amendment C183 was approved by the Minister for Planning and formed part of the Yarra Planning Scheme from 15 June 2017.

The amendment introduced places of local heritage significance into the Yarra Planning Scheme and implemented the findings of the Heritage Gap Study: Review of Central Richmond, Stage 2 Final Report, November 2014.
What land was affected by this amendment?
The amendment applies to a number of areas (precincts) and individual places across Richmond in area bounded by Bridge Road, Swan Street, Church Street and the Yarra River.
