Joining a community garden is a great way to connect with your local community, grow fresh food, learn and share skills and spend time outdoors in nature.
Yarra City Council is proud to support a number of community gardens on public land. We do not manage these gardens directly, each garden is managed by a volunteer garden management committee.
If you want to be part of one of Yarra’s existing community gardens you can contact the garden management committee to learn more about how to get involved.
