Our friendly and professional bus drivers can collect you from home in our accessible buses and drive you to and from various group activities at local Neighbourhood Houses, Health Centres, Epworth Pool and Senior's Hubs in Collingwood and Richmond.
We also provide regular trips to local shopping centres.
Our service operates 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
If you are not a current client of Yarra City Council you will need to contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 to register your details to arrange an assessment for these services.
My Aged Care can also give you information on how to apply for assistance with transport to and from individual appointments. Please note that our Community Transport team are not able to provide individual escorting. If you speak another language My Aged Care can arrange an interpreter for you.
A fee is charged for most of our services, however it can vary according to your income. You can discuss this when the assessor visits.
Eligible community groups can hire a bus to go on an outing or a trip to the country.
Groups must register with the Community Transport team, meet the eligibility criteria, and provide their own bus driver for the trip.
Please note, only passenger vehicles of 12 and 24 seats are available.
