Have your say on Yarra's first Play Space Strategy

We are developing Yarra City Council's first Play Space Strategy, which will guide our decision making and priorities around play spaces for the next 10 years.

Yarra’s population is growing rapidly and it's important that quality play spaces are within safe and easy walking distances. We also want to make sure that our diverse community’s needs are being met now and into the future.

Play means to engage in activity for enjoyment, recreation or wellbeing. A play space is an environment where play can take place.

Have your say

Tell us about your favourite play spaces, what you like about them and what we could do to improve play spaces in Yarra.

Visit our Your Say Yarra page and drop a pin on a map to tell us where your favourite play space is and complete the survey within the map to share your thoughts.

Tell us what you think before 9am on Monday 20 November 2023.

You can also join us in person and chat to the team on:

  • Thursday 26 October from 10am to 1pm at Collingwood Children’s Farm
  • Sunday 12 November from 11am to 2pm Edinburgh Gardens (opposite North Fitzroy School Fete and Bargoonga Nganjin)
  • Saturday 18 November from 10am to 1pm at Gleadell Street Market, Richmond
