Yarra City Council invites interested residents to attend a guided tour of our local recycling partner APR Group’s processing facility in Truganina on Monday 19 June.

APR Group has been Yarra City Council’s local recycling partner since 2019. Our close partnership has allowed us to increase the number of materials we can recycle locally, diverting large amounts of waste from landfill.

The technology developed by APR Group is an essential element of how Yarra is supporting the development of Victoria’s circular economy.

The tour will take place on Monday 19 June at 9.45am. Transportation via bus will be provided by Yarra City Council and a pickup location shared on successful registration.

On the tour, residents will get an inside look at how the materials that are collected through the City of Yarra are converted back into a valuable resource for the community.

Interested residents should apply by submitting their details via the survey tool.

Registrations close on Monday 12 June.

There are limited spaces on the tour. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. You will be contacted if your registration is successful or unsuccessful.

Attendance of the tour is limited to residents and ratepayers within the City of Yarra.
