At Tuesday 18 April's Council Meeting, Council resolved to:

Initiate the following Community Grants streams in 2023/24, subject to the final approval of the 2023/24 Council budget:

• 2024 Annual Grants
• 2023/24 Small Project Grants
• 2023/24 Room to Create Responsive Grants
• 2023/24 Sustainability Arts Grants
• 2023/24 Arts Fellowship Arts Grants.

Council also resolved to:

• Rename the Collingwood Seniors Citizen Centre to the Djerring Centre, noting that this name reflects Woi Wurrung language and the concepts on togetherness, joining and unity.
• Adopt the Draft Budget 2023/24, the Draft Long Term Financial Plan 2023/24 to 2032/33, and the Draft Revenue and Rating Plan 2023/24 for the purpose of public exhibition.
• Retain the protected bicycle lanes on Elizabeth Street
• Release the Draft Yarra Neighbourhood House Partnership Framework for a four-week consultation commencing in late May 2023.
