Tuesday 15 March 2022
As restrictions continue to ease, it’s important we keep working to protect ourselves and our families from COVID-19.
If you’re 16 and over and you have received your second dose 3 or more months ago, you can have your third dose now. That means…

|January 2022||April 2022|
|February 2022||May 2022|
You can get the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for your third dose regardless of the vaccine you received for your first two doses.
Vaccination for children:
COVID-19 vaccines are available to everyone over the age of 5.
Pfizer is available for children aged 5 to 11 years. Moderna is also available for 6 to 11 years as of February 2022. If you have questions, ask your paediatrician which vaccine is recommended for your child.
To prepare for the appointment you will need to bring:
- proof of your child’s age (such as their birth certificate, passport or school card)
- a fitted face mask for yourself and your child (if they are aged 8 years and over).
Where do I book?
You can also go to local GPs, pharmacies, and health centres in Yarra to get your vaccine.
For example, COVID-19 vaccines are available at North Richmond Community Health 3 days a week from Wednesday to Friday. Find out more information at their website.
