Applications are now open for the Young Entrepreneurs in the North program (YEN), providing young innovators with support, workshops and hands-on training to start their own business or social enterprise.

What is the program?

YEN is a unique, 9-week experience designed to skill and equip young people to start or grow their own business, covering everything from budgeting, planning, marketing and pitching. Each participant will also be paired with a mentor to support them through their journey.

Who can apply?

YEN is open to people aged between 17 and 25 years who live, study or work in Yarra or Moreland. Applicants will be passionate about starting or strengthening their own business or social enterprise.

Do I need experience?

It is ideal that you have established ideas or foundations for a business or social enterprise.

What is involved?

9 weekly Monday night sessions from Monday 13 May to Monday 8 July. Each session will run from 6pm to 8.30 pm at Baroonga Nganjin, North Fitzroy Library (182 St Georges Road, Fitzroy North).
