Temporary Closure Carlton Library

Carlton Library will be closed from Thursday 24 January to Sunday 17 February inclusive for refurbishment.

The returns chute will not be open during this time.

No items borrowed from Carlton Library are due for return while the library is closed.

UPDATE - 12/02/2019

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the children's area in Carlton Library will remain closed until after Monday 18 March.

Pre-school programs will resume from Monday 18 February when Carlton Library re-opens, but will be held in the upstairs meeting room or in Curtain Square (weather permitting).

Please speak to a staff member for more information.

Carlton Library will reopen on Monday 18 February with renovated bathrooms, fresh paint, minor changes to shelving and some new furniture.
