Business Profile: Fresh Networking
Friday 10 November 2017
We talked to local business owner Darren Kelk about his decision to start Fresh Networking, a group founded in Yarra.
He says, "Fresh Networking is a business networking membership designed to support local businesses in achieving growth. I started Fresh because there was no other networking group that I was excited by. I was tired of other stuffy, boring, regimented networking so decided to create something fun, relaxed and less rigid with a focus on cultivating meaningful relationships. "
He has many of his own success stories from networking. He says, "I met Tas Gray from Axiom IT at our Richmond hub 2 years ago. He genuinely wanted to assist me and helped me jump to the next level in my business when I had little more than a concept. If I hadn’t created this networking hub I would never have met so many amazing business professionals like Tas who actively go out of their way to help one another succeed."
Darren is a long-time Yarra local, as he explains, "When I moved from Brisbane 9 years ago Richmond was where I set up so I’ve always been drawn to the City of Yarra. There is always something going on and a little something for everyone."
