M41 Water main Renewal Merri Creek to MCG

Melbourne Water is planning renewal works on the M41 water main. At nearly 100 years old, it needs to be replaced so they can continue to efficiently supply drinking water to the growing inner Melbourne community.
They have planned two information sessions so that the community can learn more about the M41 Water Main Renewal Project.

Alexandra Parade Main Drain Re-Decking Project

Melbourne Water has awarded the contract to John Holland KBR to carry out the works to repair the roof decking over the sections of the Alexandra Parade Main Drain.

The drain is located under the Alexandra Parade median. John Holland KBR will now carry out a detailed design before starting construction works to repair the drain.

There are a number of trees growing over the Alexandra Parade median but we will continue to work closely with Melbourne Water and VicRoads to avoid tree removal where possible.
