Are you renting in a draughty home in the City of Yarra?

Get ready for winter with this free draughtproofing workshop. Learn simple, do-it-yourself, rental-friendly ways to seal up gaps around windows and doors to make your home more comfortable in cold weather.

Learn about your rights as a renter to make your home more comfortable and energy efficient.

Participants will take home a free draughtproofing kit to install at home.

This workshop will be held in English with interpreter support in Mandarin,Vietnamese and Arabic.



Places are limited; bookings essential.

This is one of three draughtproofing workshops for renters hosted by Yarra City Council in May-June. Two of the workshops will have interpreter support:

• Monday 13 May, 1:30-3pm at Carlton Neighbourhood Learning Centre – in English with interpreter support in Mandarin, Vietnamese, and Arabic
• Thursday 16 May, 1-2:30pm at Holden Street Neighbourhood House – English only
• Friday 21 June, 10-11:30am at Belgium Avenue Neighbourhood House – in English with interpreter support in Mandarin, Vietnamese
