Our current Climate Emergency Plan 2020-2024 is ready for a reboot. It’s now time to develop the next plan which will underpin our response to the climate crisis in the years to come and ramp up our ambition.

In late 2023 we heard from our community about what you want to see in our next Climate Emergency Plan.

We've incorporated your feedback into a new Draft Climate Emergency Plan, to include our community's priorities for how we can build a healthy and just Yarra, where everyone is supported, and people and nature thrive together, now and into the future. 

We've developed seven key transformations to guide our response to the climate emergency from 2024-2030.
