Get rid of toxic household chemicals, such as cleaning products, pool chemicals, pesticides and weed killer, safely at Clifton Hill Depot. Supported by Sustainability Victoria, Detox Your Home provides a free, safe and easy way to free your home of toxic chemicals, which are then reused and diverted from landfill of disposed of responsibly.

How it works

• Register for a time slot using this link.
• Clearly label your items and place them in the empty boot of your car or vehicle tray.
• Drive to Clifton Hill Depot at 168 Roseneath Street, Clifton Hill and follow the signage and directions.
• Stay in your car, we'll check you in and do the rest!

Please note, in line with Victoria’s current COVID-19 restrictions, the Detox your Home events scheduled for Saturday 5 June, Saturday 24 July, Sunday 15 August, Sunday 3 October 2021 were postponed. If you had already registered, you'll need to register again.
