Want to experience the Yarra River in a new way, and help clean up the banks and waters at the same time? 

Get involved in the Yarra River Blitz on Sunday 2 February, where you can go kayaking on the beautiful river and also help clean up rubbish in the water and surrounds.

The Yarra Riverkeeper Association will provide single, double and family-sized kayaks for volunteers as well as all the equipment you will need including grabbers, safety vests, sunscreen and rubbish bags. 

Get involved by registering to attend this free event on Eventbrite, and then come along to Richmond Rowing Club on Sunday 2 February. 

This is a family friendly event, and kids are encouraged to get involved as long as they are accompanied by an adult. Make sure you dress for the weather, wear closed shoes and bring your reusable water bottle!
