Clifton Hill Depot open day

Saturday 30 March 2019

Come and explore the Yarra Council Depot in Clifton Hill at a family friendly open day.

It’s a great opportunity to see how the City of Yarra works behind the scenes, learn more about what we do and chat to our friendly staff.

We’ll be sharing information on how we manage waste and recycling, roads, urban agriculture and our parks and gardens.

It’s also a chance to find out about new innovations and projects we have planned for Yarra in 2019.

Some of the activities happening on the day include:

  • Visit different stations, chat to Yarra staff and ask any questions that you have.
  • Enjoy a sausage sizzle with vegetarian and halal options.
  • Find out what happens next after we collect your rubbish and recycling.
  • Ask questions at our waste and recycling myth buster.
  • Learn how to remove graffiti on your property in our graffiti workshop.
  • Enjoy a planter box demo from our Urban Agriculture facilitator.
  • Find out more about the machinery we use to build and maintain your roads.

Plus plenty more!

This is a free community event.
