2018 Rail Careers Week

As part of Rail Week 2018, secondary students (year 9 and 10 students) are invited to come to the Rail Academy Newport on Tuesday 14 August and Wednesday 15 August from 10am to 2pm to learn more about having a career in the rail industry.
Rail Careers week is a national campaign to promote and raise awareness about the career opportunities in the rail industry.
This event is a great opportunity to hear about different opportunities in the Rail industry, including;
- Manufacturing and maintenance infrastructure
- Engineering operations
- Asset management
- Corporate specialist
- Customer service
Lunch will be provided on both days at 12.45pm.

What to wear: Please wear closed to shoes when visiting the Newport Rail Academy
Getting there: You will need to arrange your own way to the Newport Facility by either car or bus. There is plenty of parking on site for those who are driving.
Make sure you come along for a free lunch and some career direction!
