Celebrate National Tree Day on Sunday 30 July (10am to 12pm) with the Friends of Merri Creek and Planet Ark.  Registration for this family-friendly planting event is at Kevin Bartlett Reserve (F.R. Smith Drive, Burnley, north of Loughlan Oval.)

Some activities on the day include: 

• Planting in our endangered grasslands
• Learning about the environment with Waterwatch
• Cuddling up with some ‘bush baby’ animals
• Enjoying a free sausage sizzle & Halal-friendly vegetarian falafels

Rain, hail or shine the event will proceed with plants, gloves and tools provided.
