Step 3: We will then contact shortlisted candidates. This may include a phone interview.

Step 4: Panel interview.

Step 5: Pre-employment screening:

• pre-employment medical, police check, Working With Children Check , copies of qualifications (for applicable roles).

Step 6: We will offer you the job.

Make sure you provide us with specific and relevant examples in your key selection criteria.

We offer comprehensive practical placements to people across a wide range of our departments.

Our practical program aims to provides you with the opportunity to gain experience, skills and knowledge in a dynamic local government environment.

We provide you with the ability to put course work into a practical context, gauge their interest and ability in various specialisations, offer experience in the workplace in interpersonal and technical skills, and assist them to become more employment-ready with varied experience.

We only offer student placements to tertiary students when it is a course requirement to undertake workplace learning.
