'Albums in Quarantine' will give artists who haven't been able to launch their new albums at live music venues the chance to showcase their latest work online.

It’s just one of the new and innovative ways that Leaps and Bounds Music Festival has been helping out local artists who have been hit hard by coronavirus (COVID-19).

Every day during the festival, which runs from Thursday 11 to Saturday 20 June, tracks recorded by participating artists will be streaming on the Leaps and Bounds website.

Artists who have been chosen to share their new tracks include Dianas, who have been cultivating their unique poppy sound since 2012, 22-year-old Chitra who has combined indie-rock and pop in her debut Self-Titled EP and Cable Ties, a tense, hypnotic punk rock trio.

You’ll also be hearing new music from artists Dave Arden, Tracy McNeil, Claire Birchall, RVG, Dodda Rivka, Simona Castricum, Parsnip, Primo! and Georgia State Line and more.

To top this off, one lucky listener will have the chance to win the day’s featured album which is being promoted through a daily giveaway on PBS radio.

To make sure you don’t miss out, visit the website for live streams each day at 5:45pm, as well as at 3pm on weekends.
