Safer Streets for Schools Princes Hill Primary pilot project
The pilot project will be evaluated and monitored over next eight months, and include traffic counts, surveys, parking usage data, alongside feedback from the community.
Yarra City Council has partnered with Princes Hill Primary School and the local community to create a safer and welcoming area in front of the school on Wilson Street. The area will be created by transforming the use of a section of the street as part of a pilot project. This will improve connections to the Linear Parklands and give children and families more travel options to walk, ride, wheel and scoot to and from school, and create a new public space for everyone to enjoy.
Tell us what is working well and what could be improved during the pilot project which includes temporary changes to Wilson Street, Solly Avenue, Wilson Street and Park Street. The pilot project will be evaluated and monitored over eight months, and include traffic counts, surveys, parking usage data, alongside feedback from the community.
Have your say
