Halloween fun returns to Nicholson Village!
Get your costumes ready! The Nicholson Village Trick or Treat Trail is back on Friday 30 October, bringing an afternoon of free Halloween fun to Nicholson Street.
From 4pm to 6pm on Friday 30 October (Halloween Eve), families are invited to dress up, explore the village and collect treats from participating local businesses.
More than 3,200 people joined in the fun last year, and this year's event is shaping up to be another spooktacular afternoon, with 25 local traders already signed up to take part.
Along with plenty of treats, there'll be some extra-special Halloween surprises, including:
- A kids' DJ and food specials at the Railway Hotel
- Web weaving and a $2 lucky dip at the Handweavers and Spinners Guild of Victoria
- Blood pasta at Maria's Pasta
- Wicked pastries at Amann Patisserie
- A spooky bus from Kinetic, where kids can step inside to collect treats
- Possessed patio refreshments at Neighbourhood Wine
There'll also be costume competitions with special prizes up for grabs, so don't forget to dress up!
The trail runs along Nicholson Street, between Park Street and Reid Street, on the border of Carlton North and Fitzroy North. Once you've collected your treats, why not stick around and enjoy dinner at one of the village's local eateries?
