We also operate a business advisory group which gives us feedback and advice on how we can engage with and help the business community.
Business associations
Also known as traders' associations, these are independently organised groups of businesses that run activities, marketing campaigns and events that benefit local traders.

Networking groups
Training events are excellent ways to meet like-minded local business owners. Working in or attending events at co-working spaces are also great ways to meet other businesses.
There are also many networking groups operating within Yarra. These are not associated with us, but they may provide opportunities to local businesses. The networking industry is constantly changing, so we recommend an online search in addition to the list below.

Liqour forum
All local businesses with a liquor licence are encouraged to join the Yarra Liquor Forum.
The forum meets regularly to share expert knowledge to help in the development of good policy and practice. The forum provides opportunities for attendees to engage with fellow business operators, and representatives of Yarra Council, Victoria Police and the Liquor Control Victoria.
