Your 8-month Maternal & Child Health appointment
Dental Health

Dental Health is very important. Our gums play a crucial role in protecting the bone that supports our teeth. The best way to keep gums healthy is regular toothbrushing. As soon as a baby's first tooth appears, families can brush gently with small soft bristle toothbrush or wipe teeth and gums with a damp, clean face washer. Even before teeth appear, you can get babies ready for toothbrushing by wiping the gums. Please watch this great video on how to brush your baby’s teeth.
