David Langdon is keeping history alive in Yarra with his passion, enthusiasm and unending generosity.
David is the longstanding President of the Richmond & Burnley Historical Society (RBHS).
In this position he works tirelessly as a volunteer with local government, business, schools, retailers, and other history organisations to promote the rich history of our beloved Richmond and Burnley.
He is innovative in his approaches to promotion and outreach. He makes history interesting and accessible for locals and delivers his projects with humour, creativity and good leadership.
David is incredibly generous with his time – not only leading his own home historical society, but also mentoring other historical societies including the Royal Historical Society of Victoria.
A huge congratulations and thank you to David for your work in sharing Yarra’s rich history with the wider community!
