Parking permits
Find and apply for all parking permit types, including residential, visitor, business, tradesperson and medical practitioner parking permits.
Under the general local law, it is an offence to:
- sell, give away or rent a parking permit
- use or accept a parking permit if you're not the permit holder, or legitimate visitor of the permit holder.
Renew your permit
If you have received your parking permit renewal notice, you can pay online by credit card. Other payment options, such as BPAY, can be found on your renewal notice.

Residential and visitor permits
Residential and visitor parking permits are available to eligible residents, with temporary permits issued for special circumstances.
Business parking permits
Businesses operating from a commercial property in Yarra with no off-street parking may be eligible for a business parking permit.
Tradesperson parking permits

Medical practitioner permits
Medical practitioner parking permits allow doctors to park in designated Area 50 bays near Yarra hospitals and medical practices.
Live music parking permits
To support our local live music scene, we offer a special parking permit to help musicians load and unload equipment at registered live music venues.

- Live music venues (registered with Music Victoria)
- Temporary permits (only eligible in certain circumstances)
