We’re celebrating Refugee Week in Yarra with an evening of performance, storytelling and thought-provoking discussion.
Facilitated by Nicky Chung, CEO of the Australian Vietnamese Women's Association, our panel discussion features:
- Vivienne Nguyen AM, Victorian Multicultural Commissioner
- Viet-My Bui, local artist exploring Vietnamese migration through art
- Christopher Austin, Visual Artist
There will also be a dynamic African drumming performance, as well as other community performances and delicious food and drinks!
This is an extra special year as we commemorate 50 years of Vietnamese migration to Australia - a moment to reflect and celebrate resilience and cultural heritage.
Come and connect with your community for an evening filled with learning, celebration and reflection.
This is a free event, but bookings are essential.
