Would you like to learn about strategic and statutory planning in Yarra?

Our free online information session is open to all community members who would like to learn more about planning.

We’ll talk about what Council’s role is in planning, including how we plan for the future, as well as how we implement those plans and make decisions on planning matters. 

The session will include an introduction to the Victorian Planning System and the Yarra Planning Scheme. We’ll talk about what’s involved in the planning permit process. We’ll also talk about the role of Council, the State Government, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) and other stakeholders.

Registration is required. You’ll have an opportunity to tell us about any questions or topics you would like us to cover when you register.
