Drawing together artists from across Australia and South Asia, Recompositions seeks to explore limits, fragility, and porosities—examining what it means to speak in languages that pokes holes in a world preoccupied with capture, control, and determinacy.
Amplifying the mode of gathering, the program assembles and attends to resonant practices intent on inventing languages that can hold ineffable dreams, desires, and encounters—unfixed from the discretisation of time, bodies, and sensing.
