2023 Gertrude Street Projection Festival
-

Re-ignite this winter with a Confluence at GSPF 2023.

It is that time of year again, join the Centre for Projection Arts as they re-ignite this winter with a Confluence at the beloved GSPF 2023.

Activating multiple sites along Gertrude Street in it’s 15th year, this year’s festival weaves together community + art, public + space, night + light, sight + site with projections by 11 artists-in-residence alongside community and special projects, events, parties, talks and screenings.

For 10 nights from July 27th to August 6th, our senses will be invigorated through the merging strands of history, technology, experience, materials, politics and emotions. Project your subjectivity and reflect on our collective worlds, a Confluence of interlacing sensations.

Join in to celebrate artists Sarah Aiken, Tully Arnott, Naina Sen, Alana Hunt, Henry William Lai-Paine, Lilah Benetti, Leitu Bonnici, Tahlia Palmer, Juan Rodriguez Sandoval, Melody Woodnutt and more.

GSPF are also proud to present a community project that artists James Henry and Rali Beynon have been working on in collaboration with the students at Collingwood College. In 2023, GSPF are thrilled to take some events offsite and showcase the artworks alongside the hyperlocal context of Gertrude Street!
