Hard rubbish collections are not available for commercial properties or apartments with private waste arrangements.
Every household, business and building we service is given four types of bins:
- A red or dark green-lid rubbish bin, collected weekly
- A purple-lid glass bin, collected every second week, on the alternate week to the recycling bin
- A yellow-lid recycling bin, collected every second week, on the alternate week to the glass bin
- A lime-green-lid food and garden organics (FOGO) bin, collected on the same day as your rubbish bin. Learn more about our new FOGO service .

Residents can book up to two hard rubbish collections each calendar year (eligible properties only).
