Home and support services for older adults

We provide a number of services to help older people who need extra support or who people have a disability to live independently in their own homes and the community.

As an Australia Government-funded provider, we follow the Charter of Aged Care Rights [ PDF, 243.56 KB] , which includes 14 fundamental protections. When you receive services from us, you have the right to expect high-quality care and to be treated with respect and dignity. You can read the Charter in your own language and learn how we meet our responsibilities [ PDF, 189.37 KB] to our service users.

For detailed information about what to expect and your rights, please check our Client Information Booklet [ PDF, 16.66 MB] available in multiple languages including:

Survey on service satisfaction

In November 2021, we invited a random selection of clients to participate in a satisfaction survey. Participants provided feedback on services delivered by Yarra and its contracted providers Mercy Health and Valyarra. These included home care, personal care, respite care, home maintenance, and social support activities.
