Due to the long weekend some of the services we offer will have altered opening hours. Check below to see if any of the services you use will be changing.

Customer service

Our four customer service centres (Bargoonga Nganjin, North Fitzroy Library, Collingwood Town Hall, Connie Benn Centre and Richmond Town Hall) will be closed on Friday 30 March, Saturday 31 March, Sunday 1 April and Monday 2 April. They will reopen on Tuesday 3 April at 8:30am and resume their normal 8:30am – 5pm weekday opening hours.

Yarra Leisure

Our leisure centres (Burnley Golf Course, Collingwood Leisure Centre, Fitzroy Swimming Pool, Richmond Recreation Centre) will have amended opening hours.

Yarra Libraries

Our five library branches will be closed Friday 30 March, Saturday 31 March, Sunday 1 April and Monday 2 April.

The returns chutes will still be open and you can renew your items online.

All library branches will reopen on Tuesday 3 April and resume normal opening hours.

Bin collection

There is only one change to bin collections over the Easter long-weekend.

Collections on Good Friday (30 March) will take place on Saturday 31 March instead.

There are no other changes to collection days.

Recycling drop-off centre

Our recycling drop-off centre in Clifton Hill will be open as follows:

• Good Friday: 9am – 4pm
• Easter Saturday: 9am – 5pm
• Easter Sunday: 9am – 5pm
• Easter Monday: 9am – 4pm
