Christmas and New Year opening hours and timetable

We wish everyone a happy and safe festive season and New Year. Please see below our modified opening hours over the holiday period. For all days not listed, normal operating times apply.

Opening hours

Christmas Eve: Wednesday 24 December

Leisure Centres: 6am to 2pm

Burnley Golf Course: 6.30am to 2pm (final tee time 12pm)

Christmas Day: Thursday 25 December

Leisure Centres: Closed

Burnley Golf Course: Closed

Boxing Day: Friday 26 December

Leisure Centres: 8am to 6pm

Burnley Golf Course: 8am to 6pm (final tee time 4pm)

New Year's Eve: Wednesday 31 December

Leisure Centres: 6am to 2pm

Burnley Golf Course: 6.30am to 2pm (final tee time 12pm)

New Year's Day: Thursday 1 January

Leisure Centres: 12pm to 6pm

Burnley Golf Course: 12pm to 6pm (final tee time 4pm)

Please note, the aquatic areas at our leisure centres close 15 minutes prior to the stated closing time. 

Group Exercise Christmas and New Year timetable

We will be running a modified group exercise timetable from Monday 15 December 2025 to Sunday 4 January 2026 based on our modified opening hours and due to staff availability over the Christmas and New Year period.

Women Making Waves

The Women Making Waves program will not run over the Christmas and New Year period with the final session for 2025 being Saturday 13 December 2025. The program will return on Saturday 10 January 2026.

Collingwood Estate Gym

The Collingwood Estate Gym will be closed for a Christmas and New Year break from Thursday 18 December 2025 (last session) and will reopen on Monday 12 January 2026.
