Step into a role that helps guide Council’s planning and decision-making.
Yarra City Council is inviting expressions of interest from community members to join one of its 13 Advisory Committees in 2025.
These committees provide advice to Council across a wide range of areas — from arts and public housing to heritage and planning, transport, business, disability inclusion, multicultural communities and more. They help Council achieve the strategic objectives of the Council Plan; and expand the ways residents can strategically engage with Council.
Committee members bring lived experience, professional expertise and local insight to help shape Council’s plans, policies and services.
Joining an Advisory Committee is a meaningful opportunity to:
- provide advice on priorities that impact the Yarra community
- share insights that help guide Council’s policies and services
- contribute to more inclusive and informed decision-making.
