The Yarra Libraries Advisory Committee helps us to make sure that the public library services in Yarra City meet the needs of our community.

The Yarra Libraries Advisory Committee:

  • collects feedback from library users in the City of Yarra
  • guides us on the design of library services to meet community needs
  • shares ideas on how to improve the City of Yarra's library services
  • gives feedback on library statistics and performance reports
  • helps us to consult with the community on library policy and service plans
  • shares community views with us
  • helps to inform the community about any library news
  • participates in various forums and workshops on library issues
