Medium sized meeting room suitable for general meetings, presentations and small events. The room includes a small kitchenette with a zip tap for hot water. The space can also be hired in conjunction with the Garrong Room (seminar room 2) if a bigger space is required.

Audio Visual system

  • Wall-mounted projector and screen to be used for audio visual purposes.
  • Laptop computers can be linked to the projector via the HDMI wall input, please bring a HDMI cable if required
  • Built in stereo speakers for amplified audio playback.
  • USB can be directly linked to the projector via the USB wall input.

Venue conditions

  • Available for bookings between 9am and 10pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am and 6pm on Sundays.
  • If access to Garrong Room (seminar room 2) is required, the hirer must cover the cost of both rooms.
  • This venue is not available to hire on public holidays.
  • Please ensure facilities are clean and return tables and chairs to their original places, or additional charges may apply.
  • Alcohol is not permitted in this meeting room.

Out-of-hours bookings

If your booking is outside library opening hours, you or a representative must visit the library before your booking to collect the keys and learn the opening and closing procedures.

Noise levels

As this space is located in the library building, you must control your noise levels during office and library hours. Unacceptable noise levels that can be heard outside the room may result in the booking being cancelled and money withheld.

If you are a registered user and have booked with us before, you can log into our booking system to book a space.

If you are a new user, you need to register with us before you make a booking.

Organisation bookings

If you are from an organisation, you must:

  • register your organisation
  • make your booking under your organisation's name.

If you're from a not-for-profit group, you may be eligible for discounted use. Contact our bookings team to find out more.
