If you're a young person with a great local climate action idea in need of funding, join us at Collingwood Library to:
- Workshop your bold climate ideas into great, grant-worthy projects
- Get support from the Yarra City Council sustainability and grants teams to take your project from idea to application-ready grant project
- Get answers to your questions about the Youth Climate Action Fund grants
The Yarra Youth Climate Action Fund Grants give young people aged 15-24 the chance to turn bold climate ideas into local climate action projects.
Grants of $1,500 to $7,000 will support youth-led projects that make a positive impact locally.
Grant applications open Monday 17 August and close Monday 28 September 2026.
Supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies’ global Youth Climate Action Fund, this initiative is part of an international effort empowering young people to design and deliver solutions to local climate challenges.
