Recreating Wellbeing First Nations Workshop

This Recreating Wellbeing Workshop will inspire wellness with a focus on traditional practices in mental health care and wellbeing for First Nations people. 

The workshop will be facilitated by Lee Couch, an Aboriginal woman from the Gamilaroi Tribe in Northern NSW with connection to Moree and is a trained wellness practitioner and educator.

The workshop will:

  • Provide a gentle and nurturing space to explore well-being from a cultural lens
  • Create a community of care – DADIRRI – (Aboriginal Mindfulness Traditions)
  • Support good health through the use of bush medicine blends

Date: Wednesday 19 June 2024
Time: 10am to 2pm – light refreshments served
Venue: Djerring Centre, 4 Eddy Court, Abbotsford
Cost: Free- registrations open to First Nations people only
Parking: Limited disabled spots and street parking
