A major highlight of this year’s WinterLIVE program at the Abbotsford Convent, Colombian experimental musician Lucrecia Dalt will present an intimate, late-night set of songwriting, layered percussion and richly textured sound. In her only Melbourne performance, Dalt will bring her singular world of surreal electronics and emotionally charged storytelling. Joining Dalt will be First Nations artists and collaborators J.WLSN and Liam Keenan, whose textured sound worlds draw from ambient minimalism and post-rock experimentation.
The Abbotsford Convent's WinterLIVE program is an after-dark mix of music, experimental performance and immersive installation, film and contemporary art, presented by international and local artists.
