Gardens for Wildlife Information Session

Are you interested in plants and animals and want to help increase biodiversity in your neighbourhood? We're looking for volunteers for our Gardens for Wildlife program.

This program connects trained volunteer garden guides with households across Yarra to provide advice and recommendations on creating habitats for wildlife in their gardens – whether that be attracting birds, reptiles or insects, or simply planting Indigenous species.

We're hosting a free information session for prospective volunteers that will cover:

  • What the program includes
  • The basics of wildlife gardening
  • How you can get involved

Those interested in joining the program as a participating household are also welcome to attend.

Light snacks will be provided. Bookings are essential.

If you have any accessibility questions or requirements, please contact [email protected].

Can't make it to the in-person event? Join our online information session on Saturday 25 February from 10am to 11.15am. This session will take place on Zoom. Bookings are essential.
