Victoria’s Pride Street Party returns as a celebration of progress, love and diversity. Experience a full day of LGBTQIA+ art, live music, performances, community and culture, with stalls showcasing local treasures.
The event is open to all, including families, friends and allies, and offers something for everyone. Mark the end of the Midsumma Festival season with this vibrant celebration and come together with the community in the heart of Fitzroy.

Best way to get there
Take tram routes 12 or 109 (to Smith Street/Victoria Parade), route 11 (to Brunswick and Gertrude Streets), or route 96 (to Parliament Station). Route 86 will not be operating in the festival precinct. Visit the PTV website for all service changes.
Accessibility features
A designated drop-off bay will be on Smith Street near Charles Street. A dedicated viewing platform and Auslan interpretation will be available near the main stage. Accessible toilets are provided in every toilet zone, with a wheelchair/mobility scooter charging point at the information tent on Gertrude Street. An Elders Retreat and Quiet Space will operate at Charcoal Lane (136 Gertrude St) and a mobile Parent Pod will be available on Gertrude Street near the main stage. Auslan interpretation
- Smith Street Stage: All programming on the Smith Street Stage will be interpreted by a team comprising Deaf and hearing interpreters, coordinated by Break a Finger.
- Gertrude Street Stage: All programming on the Gertrude Street Stage will be interpreted by a team comprising Deaf and hearing interpreters, coordinated by Auslan Stage Left.
- Stallholders Precincts: Roving Interpreters will be available in the Stallholders Precinct. Roving Interpreters are provided by Expression Australia. To access this service, please see the Expression Australia Stall on Gertrude Street near George Street.
Temporary tow-aways, parking restrictions, and road closures
REDUCED PARKING DURING PRE EVENT SET UP
From 3 February, parking availability on the streets listed below will be reduced to facilitate the delivery of key event infrastructure. While the list may appear extensive, only small sections of each street will be affected.

TEMPORARY TOW-AWAY DESIGNATION
To help ensure vehicles do not remain within key event areas and to support safe event operations, the following streets will be temporarily designated as tow-away areas. The designation will be made by the Department of Transport and Planning, at the request of the City of Yarra.
Temporary tow-away period: From 4pm Saturday 7 February – 3am Monday 9 February 2026
Designated tow-away areas:
- Gertrude Street (between Smith Street & Brunswick Street)
- Smith Street (between Little Victoria and Charles Street)
- Peel Street (between Smith Street and Cambridge Street)
Vehicles parked in these areas during the designated period may be relocated to allow access for event infrastructure, emergency services, and pedestrian safety. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact vehicle owners in the first instance. If your vehicle has been removed at Council’s request, please contact Midsumma’s Event Operations on 0456 667 914.
Residential streets outside those listed above will not be designated as tow-away areas.
