Your pet registration renewal is due on 10 April each year, as required under the Domestic Animals Act 1994. We generally send renewal notices between 28 February and 10 March.

If you've signed up to receive eNotices, you'll receive your renewal notice by email.

If you're not an existing eNotices user, we'll send your renewal by post. It will have information on how to register for eNotices.

  • 2

Enter your email address and eNotice reference number. You will have your own individual reference number

Update your pet's details

You must update your pet's details if:

  • you move to a new address (in or out of Yarra)
  • you recently desexed your pet (this reduces the renewal fee)
  • your pet has passed away or is lost
  • your contact details have changed
  • you gave your pet away.

To update any of this information, please submit an online request. It will also help us to process your request quicker if you include your animal ID or tag number.
