Enjoy Yarra responsibly:
- Respect staff and patrons at our venues
- Look out for your friends
- Drink alcohol responsibly and don’t drive if drug or alcohol affected
- Report unsafe or suspicious behaviour to venue staff or call Police on 000 for emergency or 131 444 for non-urgent issues
- Be considerate about noise levels and litter
Liquor Forum
The Yarra Liquor Forum is a collaboration between our licensed venues, Victoria Police and the Victorian Liquor Commission. Safety and amenity issues in our precincts are key issues addressed within our quarterly Yarra Liquor Forum meetings. The purpose of the forum is to improve the level of safety in and around licensed premises and manage the impacts of alcohol use and misuse on the community. New venues are welcome to join the Forum.
Cleaning and maintenance
Yarra City Council is responsible for the regular cleaning and maintenance of footpaths, bins, street furniture and public toilets in our entertainment precincts. In partnership with our owners along our retail strips, we conduct programmed graffiti removal.
